Progeny began its ministry in 2004 when husband and wife, Ben and Rachel Toalson, heard God's call to minister together. In 2006 they signed with MakeShift Records out of Arizona, and completed their first album, "Distractions." Their ministry is available for intimate living-room worship or full band concerts. They've led worship for camps and retreats, opened for major label artists, and played events hosted by their local Christian radio station. The members of Progeny are active in their local churches and have also partnered with World Vision, a Christian relief organization that helps poverty-stricken children all around the world and those affected by the AIDS pandemic through child sponsorship. Joining Ben and Rachel is Dustin Maybin on drums. Progeny's honorary member is Jadon Toalson, born to Ben and Rachel November 19, 2006. He's usually the main attraction. In any setting they create a unique, attractive, and energetic sound that draws the listener's attention to words of truth, wisdom, and encouragement.
